Welcome to the Upton St Leonards WI Website.
Are you looking for an interesting evening meeting with a group of friendly and like-minded ladies?
Upton St Leonards WI meets at 7.30 p.m. on the first Monday of every month at the Village Hall, Bondend Road, Upton St Leonards.
We are a long established WI and have members who come from the outskirts of Gloucester as well as the village of Upton St Leonards.
Each month we have an interesting and informative speaker or a social evening, with a competition, a raffle and a bring and buy table. Tea and coffee and delicious cakes are served at each meeting during social time. We have a walking group which meets once a month. We enter the County WI Skittles tournament and the WI quiz. We are organising outings and craft classes. Members attend many of the events organised by the Gloucestershire Federation. We support events held by other village organisations and often provide refreshments for them.
We are a member of the Painswick Group of WIs within the Gloucestershire Federation and once or twice a year take part in group events.
We are always pleased to see visitors at our meeting. You can be sure of a warm welcome and hope you will enjoy your visit enough to want to join us as a member.
